The National Library Obtains Funding for Energy Modernization of Palace of the Commonwealth
On 30 April 2019, at the headquarters of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw, an agreement was signed securing financing for the project "Energy Modernization of the Krasiński Palace (Palace of the Commonwealth) at Plac Krasińskich 3/5 in Warsaw".
Thanks to the financial support, the building of the Palace of the Commonwealth will become more energy-efficient, will emit less air pollution and will cost less to operate.
These activities are in line with the concept of environment protection through use of energy-saving solutions in public infrastructure and by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The project will be implemented under the sub-measure 1.3.1 "Reduction Emissions Generated by the Economy"of priority axis I of the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2014–2020.
The agreement was signed by Grażyna Spiechowicz-Kristensen, deputy director of the National Library and Mr. Artur Szymon Michalski, deputy president of the board and Mrs. Aneta Pintkowska-Bryłka, proxy, acting chief accountant of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
