A visit by Armenia Minister of education, culture and sports at the Palace of the Commonwealth

Zhaneta Andreyasyan, the Minister of education, culture and sports of Armenia, visited the Palace of the Commonwealth on Wednesday, December 10.

The delegation was greeted by Doctor Tomasz Makowski, director of the National Library, who took the guests around a permanent exhibition – the National Library’s treasury – presenting the most valuable assets of Polish literature heritage. These included, among others, Ewangeliarz ze Skevry (gospel book of Skevra) a manuscript of especial importance to Orman culture.

The delegation headed by Minister Andreyasyan included Artur Martirosyan, vice minister of education, culture and sports of Armenia; David Poghosyan, director of Armenia museum of history; Araik Khzmalyan, director of the M. Mashtots Institute of ancient manuscripts and Alexander Arzoumanian, the ambassador of Armenia Republic in Poland.

A meeting with Orman community representatives in Poland, including personages of the world of culture and artists, followed.
