Wojciech Karolak Archive at the National Library

Thanks to the generous gesture of Artur Andrus – a writer, poet, journalist, and stand-up artist – the archives of the National Library now include the personal archive of Wojciech Karolak, a prominent jazz musician, composer, and Hammond organ virtuoso.

The materials donated are primarily manuscripts, including autograph copies and drafts. They document the vast artistic output of Wojciech Karolak and his diverse artistic activity, including instrumental compositions, song arrangements, jazz standards, music for commercials, jingles, as well as film and theatre scores.

After professional conservation, the archive will become part of the Polish Jazz Archive.
